Web Design
My portfolio of web design work is growing fast, and I've always got something in developement. Below is a sample of some of the work I've done, and it's listed chronologically. Where possible I've included links to the live site so that you can see my work in action. I program in a variety of languages, but I'm mainly reliant on CSS, HTML and PHP. If you've got any questions about how I did something, please get in touch.
For all commissions, please get in touch.

I Loved You
-
I Loved You is a simple website where people can get things off their chest. It's a work in progress, and in the future I'm going to add a cool web robot that'll scurry across the web and find blogs and such with the phrase 'I Loved you' and collate it. But that's for the future.

Know Your Monsters.com
-
Know your monsters is a work in progress. The site is a scratching post for me to show off some of my photo manipulation skills. I'll be taking photos and turning them into another great love of mine 1930's Universal Monsters. I'll update it as and when I can.

Proposal for The Elephant House redesign
-
This was the design I worked on for the Elephant House before the project was dropped due to time constraints. There's clearly still a lot of work to be done (I'm at about 30% on content, 60% on design), but this gives a good idea where it was headed. A solid, clear layout.

ShelterSoc Website
A website created for an Edinburgh University group that dealt with housing and homelessness issues. The site was created in PHP and included some events management and blogging tools. In the end, the client decided to stick it out at facebook.

Scottish Gardens' Scheme
A design that took a long time to achieve. The focus was on imagery, however balancing the large amount of images with the large amount of text on the site, required some planning. The site was programmed in Asp .Net with a lot of CSS styling.

Edcast
As part of my masters I had to create a website in Coldfusion. Edcast is an online user-content tv station for Edinburgh. Using flash, user's could watch, upload and comment on a selection of videos about Edinburgh. A weekly release was put together by the Edcast team as seeder content. As the site was in Coldfusion (and I'm currently on a PHP server, I'm in the process of porting it across).
